We take the protection of your personal data very seriously. Your personal data is collected and processed within the framework of legal data protection regulations, in particular the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR Art. 13 ff).

If you send us your name and email address via the contact form, we will use this data exclusively to process your request. In addition, for technical reasons, the IP address, date and time, website from which access was made (referrer URL), and browser and operating system information are stored. We only store the data for as long as is necessary to process your request.

Data storage

As soon as the above data is no longer required to display the website, it will be deleted. The collection of data to provide the website and the storage of data in log files is absolutely necessary for the operation of the website. There is therefore no option for the user to object. Further storage may take place in individual cases if this is required by law. Data is only processed and stored within the European Union (EU) or the European Economic Area (EEA).

Hosting

This website is hosted by an external hosting service provider (Webflow). Some personal data collected on this website ends up on the host's servers. This includes, for example, IP addresses, device types, country/city information, website views and other data generated by the website. The host is used to provide you with our online services securely, quickly and efficiently. He will only process your data to the extent necessary to fulfill his performance obligations and to follow our instructions regarding this data.

Webflow

We host our website with Webflow. The provider is Webflow, Inc., based at 398 11th Street, 2nd Floor, San Francisco, CA 94103, USA (hereinafter Webflow). When you visit our website, Webflow collects various log files, including your IP address. Webflow is a tool for building and hosting websites. Webflow uses cookies or other recognition technologies to display the page, provide certain website functions and ensure security (necessary cookies). For more details, see Webflow's privacy policy: https://webflow.com/legal/eu-privacy-policy. Webflow is used on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO. It is in our interest to present our website as reliably as possible. If a corresponding consent has been requested, processing is carried out exclusively on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO and § 25 para. 1 TTDSG, insofar as the consent includes the storage of cookies or access to information on the device (e.g. device fingerprinting) in accordance with TTDSG. The consent can be withdrawn at any time. Data transmission to the USA is based on the standard contractual clauses of the EU Commission. You can find more details about this here: https://webflow.com/legal/eu-privacy-policy.

Cookies

Our websites use so-called “cookies.” Cookies are small text files and do not cause any damage to your device. They are stored on your device either temporarily for the duration of a session (session cookies) or permanently (permanent cookies). Session cookies are automatically deleted at the end of your visit. Permanent cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them yourself or until they are automatically deleted by your web browser. In some cases, cookies from third-party companies may also be stored on your device when you visit our site (third-party cookies). These enable us or you to use certain services provided by the third-party company (e.g. cookies to process payment services). Cookies have various functions. Numerous cookies are technically necessary, as certain website functions would not work without them (e.g. the shopping cart function or the display of videos). Other cookies are used to evaluate your user behavior or to display advertising. Cookies that are necessary to carry out the electronic communication process, to provide certain functions requested by you (e.g. for the shopping cart function) or to optimize the website (e.g. cookies to measure the web audience) (necessary cookies) are stored on the basis of Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR, unless another legal basis is provided. The website operator has a legitimate interest in storing necessary cookies for the technically error-free and optimized provision of its services. If consent to the storage of cookies and comparable recognition technologies has been requested, processing is carried out exclusively on the basis of this consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO and § 25 para. 1 TTDSG); consent can be withdrawn at any time. You can set your browser so that you are informed when cookies are set and only allow cookies in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general, and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when you close the browser. If cookies are deactivated, the functionality of this website may be limited. If cookies are used by third-party companies or for analysis purposes, we will inform you separately as part of this privacy policy and, if necessary, request consent.

Integrated third-party services

In order to offer the functions of our website and app, we integrate third-party services.

Google Tag Manager

This website uses Google Tag Manager. Google Tag Manager is a solution that allows us to manage website tags from a single interface. The Tag Manager tool itself (which implements the tags) is a cookie-free domain and does not collect any personally identifiable information. The tool triggers other tags, which in turn can collect data. Google Tag Manager has no access to this data. If the deactivation was made at the domain or cookie level, it persists for all tracking tags implemented with Google Tag Manager.

Firebase

We use Google's Firebase service (https://firebase.google.com) to create behavioral analyses for our app. The information is used to see how you interact with our app. Firebase is part of the Google Cloud Platform and offers numerous services for developers. Some Firebase services process personal data, and you can find an overview here: https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy. Personal data is usually limited to so-called “instance IDs” with a time stamp. These “instance IDs” given by Firebase are unique and make it possible to link different events or processes. This data does not represent personally identifiable information to us and we make no effort to personalize it retrospectively. We process this aggregated data to analyze and optimize usage behavior, e.g. by evaluating crash reports. We currently use the following Firebase services:

Google Analytics for Firebase: Google Analytics uses the data to provide analytics and attribution information. The exact information that is collected may vary depending on the device and environment. For more information, please visit the following link: https://support.google.com/firebase/answer/6318039 and in Google's partner policy.

Crashlytics: When using our app, data is collected and stored which is used to create information using pseudonymous user profiles for the purpose of web analysis. We measure and analyze technical performance data (e.g. response and load times) and application data (hardware and software used) to improve the performance of our products. Cookies are used for this purpose. These are text files that are stored on your computer and allow an analysis of the use of our website. The pseudonymous user profiles will not be combined with personal data about the bearer of the pseudonym without your express consent. You can object to data collection and storage for web analysis purposes at any time with effect for the future by deactivating the use of cookies in your browser settings. The providers' privacy policies can be found here: https://firebase.google.com/terms/data-processing-terms.

Google Analytics

This website uses features of the web analysis service Google Analytics. The provider is Google Ireland Limited (“Google”), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google Analytics enables the website operator to analyze the behavior of website visitors. Here, the website operator receives various usage data, such as page views, length of stay, operating systems used and origin of the user. Google may summarize this data in a profile that is assigned to the respective user or their device.
Google Analytics uses technologies that enable the user to be recognized for the purpose of analyzing user behavior (e.g. cookies or device fingerprinting). The information collected by Google about the use of this website is transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, the general level of data protection in the USA is not congruent with that in the European Union; it cannot be ruled out that authorities in the USA or in other countries can access your data.
We have activated the IP anonymization function on this website. As a result, your IP address is abbreviated by Google within member states of the European Union or in other states party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area before transmission to the USA. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and abbreviated there. On behalf of us, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide other services related to website activity and Internet usage to the website operator. According to Google, the IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be combined with other data from Google.

The storage of data is based on your consent, Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR. You can prevent Google from collecting and processing your data by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available at the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.

Your rights

You have the right to obtain information about the personal data we have stored, to request the correction, deletion or restriction of the processing of your data, and the right to data portability. If you believe that the processing of your personal data violates data protection law, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.

Privacy Policy Update

We reserve the right to change this privacy policy in accordance with updates to our website. Please visit our website regularly and review the latest privacy policy.
